The flood victims said that their entire paddy crops have been washed away by the floods. Flood victims from the villages of Jakruba, Udaybheti, Dangribil, Kachhari and Dhemaji, living in the relief camp, said that the homes of 90% of the people in their villages are 'kutcha' houses which are submerged to the roofs. Arrangements for their food was done from 21 June at the relief camp. They are getting rice, dal and salt in the name of food. But they do not have firewood to cook the food. Meanwhile, the flood situation remains grim in Roha Phulgudi, Kampur, Kachua and Dighliyati.
The delegation demanded that the relief camps should provide drinking water, nutritious food with protein content, and clean toilet facilities. They also demanded from the government to provide tin sheets and Rs 10000 cash to each flood victim.
